All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Athena is supposed to be a Heeler/Bloodhound mix though does look more Beagle’ish. She is three years old and only about 35 pounds, so not a big gal. This adorable pooch has just the right amount of fun and energy. She loves to play fetch and actually returns it right to you. Her family moved without her and she needs a new place to play.”
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
